Well, lemme tell ya about this Big Sky Conference football stats thing. It’s a whole bunch of numbers and such, all about who’s good at throwin’ the pigskin and catchin’ it. They got all sorts of stats, ya know, like how many times someone chucked the ball and how many times it got caught. Real important stuff, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I heard tell they got this fella, Bergen, plays for Montana. That boy’s somethin’ else, runnin’ back punts like nobody’s business. They say he scored six touchdowns doin’ that, more than anyone else in the whole Big Sky thing. Guess he’s pretty good at catchin’ and runnin’, that one.
They got other stuff too, like how many points each team scores. Seems like Montana’s pretty good at that, scorin’ 42 points one time against Cal Poly. That’s a lot of points, ain’t it? Cal Poly only got 7. Guess Montana was just too strong for ’em that day.
Every year, they keep track of all this stuff, who wins, who loses, how many points they get. It’s a whole big deal, this Big Sky Conference football. They put it all in a big list, so you can see who’s doin’ good and who ain’t. They even got scores and schedules and all that, so you can follow along if you want.
- They got this thing called “conference only stats,” which is just for the teams in the Big Sky. Kinda like keepin’ it in the family, I guess.
- Then there’s “overall statistics,” which is for everyone, even the teams outside the Big Sky. Guess that’s how you see who’s really the best.
And they got these “game highs,” which is like, the most points scored in a single game, or the longest run, or whatever. Seems like they keep track of just about everything. Kinda makes your head spin, all these numbers and stats. But some folks like it, so I guess it’s all right.
This Big Sky thing, it’s got teams from all over, places like Arizona, California, Colorado, and a bunch of others. They all come together to play football, tryin’ to be the best. And Montana’s been a part of it since way back in 1963. Guess they been playin’ football for a long time, those Grizzlies.
If you wanna know what’s happenin’ with the Big Sky football, you can find scores and news and all that on ESPN. They got videos and highlights too, so you can see the boys in action. Real excitin’ stuff, if you’re into watchin’ fellas toss a ball around and run into each other.
So there ya have it, a little somethin’ about Big Sky Conference football stats. It’s all about numbers and who’s good at playin’ the game. And from what I hear, that Bergen fella’s pretty darn good. Guess we’ll see how he does next season, huh?
Anyway, they got a bunch of teams fightin’ it out each week. Seems like there’s always a game goin’ on, especially durin’ November. That’s when things get real interestin’, with teams tryin’ to make it to the top of the list. And it ain’t easy, I tell ya. They gotta play hard, run fast, and catch that ball if they wanna win.
So if you’re into football, keep an eye on the Big Sky Conference. They got some good teams and some good players, like that Bergen fella. It’s a whole lot of fun, watchin’ ’em go at it. Just don’t ask me to explain all them stats, ’cause my head’s already spinnin’ just thinkin’ about it.
