Okay, so today I wanted to try out this whole “brown women’s tennis” thing. I’d seen some buzz about it online, and it looked interesting. So, I decided, why not give it a shot and document the whole process?
First things first, I needed some gear. I didn’t want to go all out and buy professional stuff, just something comfy and suitable for a beginner. I started looking around online, just to get an idea of what’s out there.
I hit up a few different online stores, just browsing through their women’s tennis apparel sections. Some of them had some pretty steep discounts, like up to 50% off! I saw a bunch of different brands, Adidas seemed to show up a lot, and they had dresses ranging from like $28 to $58.
- Fengbay Tennis Dresses – Saw a few of these for around $32.99, not bad.
- Tanou Womens Tennis Dress – These were going for about $34.99.
- Viracy Tennis Dress For Women – A bit pricier at $37.99, but they offered free shipping.
After comparing prices and styles, I decided to go with one of the Adidas dresses. It was on sale for about $34.97, which felt like a good deal, especially since it had some good reviews.
Getting on the Court
With my new dress in hand, I found a local tennis court that was free to use. I grabbed a friend who’s also a newbie at tennis, and we headed over. We spent a good hour just trying to hit the ball back and forth. It was way harder than it looks!
We were pretty bad, to be honest. Lots of missed shots, balls flying everywhere, and plenty of laughs. We weren’t keeping score or anything, just trying to get a feel for the game and enjoy the process.
Final Thoughts
Honestly, it was a lot of fun! Even though we were terrible, we had a good time, and the dress was actually really comfortable. I think I might actually try this again. Maybe next time we’ll look up some basic tutorials online before heading out. It’s definitely a good way to get some exercise and have a laugh with friends. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something new and active to try, especially if you can find some good deals on the gear like I did.
I’ll do this again for sure!
