Hey everyone, it’s been a while, but I’m back with another sports-related post. This time, I took a dive into the world of college tennis, specifically focusing on the Bryant Women’s Tennis team. It’s a bit of a change from my usual stuff, but I found it pretty interesting, and I hope you will too.
So, I started by just searching for “Bryant Women’s Tennis” on the web. The first few hits were the official schedule pages, and I got a little bit confused. Turns out, there were schedules for the 2024-25 and 2022-23 seasons. I guess that’s normal for college sports, always planning ahead.
I clicked around a bit and also found a section labeled “Bryant Women’s Tennis Home Page.” This page had links to things like “Alumni Update” and “Program Information.” It also had links to their Twitter and Facebook pages, which was cool. They even had a “Team Store” link, but I didn’t go down that rabbit hole – my wallet’s already crying from my last online shopping spree.
Social Media
- I headed over to their Instagram page next, the username is “@BryantWTennis”. Not a ton of followers, just 528, and they’re only following 76 accounts themselves. They do have quite a few posts though, 378 to be exact. I scrolled through a few, and it’s mostly just match updates and some behind-the-scenes stuff.
Live Scores
- Then, I stumbled upon something called “live scores.” Apparently, you can track the Bryant and Oklahoma DI Women’s Tennis game in real-time, with box scores and everything. I’m not sure how often I’d use that, but it’s a neat feature for die-hard fans.
General Info
- I also learned that Bryant University is part of the America East Conference in the NCAA Division I and was founded way back in 1863. I always like finding out these little historical tidbits. And get this, they have 25 Division I varsity teams! Apparently, school spirit is a big deal there, they’re ranked in the top 25 in the nation for it.
Overall, it was a fun little research session. I didn’t become an expert on Bryant Women’s Tennis, but I learned a few things and got a glimpse into their world. It’s always cool to see how much goes on behind the scenes in college sports. Anyway, that’s my little adventure for today. Let me know what you think, and I’ll catch you all in the next one!
