Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to get my kid into a local hockey tournament, and I finally decided to take the plunge with the Central Mass Hockey Tournament. Here’s how it went down, from start to finish.

First things first, I needed to actually find the tournament. I started by asking around at my son’s practices. Registration Process
Once I had their number, I registered my * registration part felt a bit old-school, I’m gonna be honest. All things should be done in online system nowsaday. I need to fill up many paperworks, and they said their team will do it, well, I have no choice but wait.
Getting Ready
After the registration was sorted, it was all about getting my son ready. We made sure his gear was all good to go – sharpened his skates, checked his helmet, the whole nine yards. We also did some extra practice sessions, focusing on his passing and shooting. He was super pumped, which made me even more excited.
The Tournament Days

So, the tournament is over, and we’re both a little tired, but it was totally worth it. My son learned a lot, not just about hockey, but about teamwork and sportsmanship. And honestly, I had a great time bonding with him and seeing him so passionate about something. I will definitely be looking into doing it again.
