So, I was digging around the internet the other day, trying to find some cool stuff about hockey, you know, just browsing through. And I stumbled upon this guy named Chase McInnis. I was like, “Who’s this dude?” So, I started looking into it, just for kicks.
First thing I did was hit up the usual spots, just to see what this Chase guy was all about. Turns out, he’s a forward, wears number 14. Okay, cool. He’s not a giant or anything, 5’11”, 36 pounds. Whatever, I’m not judging.
Then, I went down the rabbit hole of stats. You know how it is, once you start, you can’t stop. Apparently, in the 2023-24 season, this guy played in 15 games. That’s a career-high for him, according to some website I found. Good for him, I guess.
I started checking out all these college hockey stats pages. This Chase dude seems to be some kind of college player. There are a bunch of numbers there, goals, assists, and all that jazz. I didn’t really keep track of all of it, to be honest. It was more about the journey, you know?
I even found some stuff about him making a verbal commitment, whatever that means. It sounds kind of important, like he’s promising to play for some team in the future. This was back when he was a 2001, so he must have been pretty young.
- Checked out some player profile pages: Just basic info, nothing too crazy.
- Dove into the stats: A bit overwhelming, but it painted a picture of his career.
- Read about his commitment: Sounds like he’s got a plan, which is cool.
Then I was like, how did he play so far? I started finding his name mentioned here and there, like he played for this team and that team. No biggie.
After digging a bit more, I found a site that seemed to have a summary of his career stats. It looked pretty official, so I guess those numbers are legit. I didn’t write them down or anything, but they’re out there if you’re curious.
So, what did I learn?
Well, this Chase McInnis guy is a hockey player, seems to be making his way up in the college scene. He’s got some stats, made some commitments, and is generally doing his thing. It was a fun little detour from my usual internet browsing. I don’t know much about hockey, but it’s always cool to learn about new people doing their thing.
I will continue to learn more about this guy, and maybe I’ll be a hockey fan in the future, who knows.
