Okay, here is my sharing about attending the Harvard Ice Hockey Camp.
So, I finally did it. I went to the Harvard Ice Hockey Camp. It’s something I’d been thinking about for a while, and this summer, I just decided to go for it. I packed up my gear, said goodbye to my folks, and headed out to the camp. It felt a bit unreal, like stepping into a different world. But a pretty cool one.
When I got there, the first thing I did was check out the rink. Man, it was huge! And the ice, so smooth. I could tell this was a serious place for hockey. Then, I met some of the other campers. A bunch of guys, all different ages, but all crazy about hockey. We started chatting, swapping stories about our best games and stuff. It felt good to be around people who got it, you know? This FIH World Hockey Camp at Harvard University Berylson Field is great.
The training was tough, no lie. We were on the ice for hours every day. The coaches, some of them were former pros, which was kind of intimidating at first. But they were good. They pushed us hard, showed us new drills, and really focused on improving our technique. I was exhausted by the end of each day, but in a good way. I could feel myself getting better, stronger.
We didn’t just do drills, though. We played games too. Scrimmages against each other. It was a chance to put what we learned into practice, and let me tell you, the competition was fierce. Everyone wanted to prove themselves. I had some good moments, made some good plays. And yeah, I messed up a few times too. But that’s how you learn, right?
- Long Days: We were on the ice from early morning till late afternoon.
- Skill Drills: We did a ton of drills focusing on skating, shooting, passing, you name it.
- Game Time: We played a lot of practice games. It was intense but super fun.
- Team Bonding: Even though we were competing, we all got along great. Lots of laughs off the ice.

Learned a Lot
I learned so much at this camp. Not just about hockey, but about myself too. It was a great experience, and I’m really glad I went. After the camp, I packed up my stuff again, said goodbye to my new friends, and headed back home. It was a bit sad to leave, but I felt different. More confident, more skilled, and more in love with the game than ever before.
I learned so much at this camp. Not just about hockey, but about myself too. I learned that I’m tougher than I thought, and that I can push myself harder than I ever imagined. Those are lessons I can use in the game, for sure. It was a great experience, and I’m really glad I went.
This camp? Totally worth it. Learned a ton, met some cool people, and got way better at hockey. If you’re thinking about it, just go. You won’t regret it.
Hope this gives you a good idea of what the Harvard Ice Hockey Camp is like. It’s a blast!
