Okay, so I wanted to keep track of the Clemson vs. Louisville game, and I figured, why not do it myself? I mean, how hard could it be?
First, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. Yeah, old school, I know. I considered using a notes app on my phone, but I like the feel of writing things down sometimes.
I started by drawing a simple table. On one side, I wrote “Clemson,” and on the other, “Louisville.” Then, I made two columns under each team: “Points” and “Notes.” Simple enough, right?
I turned on the TV and got ready to watch the game. Every time a team scored, I’d jot down the points in the “Points” column. I tried to keep it updated live.
For example:
- Clemson: 7 points, then update,14 points, then update 21points…
- Louisville: 3 points, then update, 10 points…
In the “Notes” column, I added some quick details about how they scored – was it a touchdown? A field goal? I even scribbled down some big plays or anything that seemed important.
Like, “Clemson – Touchdown! Amazing 40-yard run!” or “Louisville – Field Goal. Kicker nailed it from 50 yards!”
I kept updating my little table throughout the game. The numbers kept going up, I try to keep my notes short and sweet.
Finally the game is over, and I could look back at my notes and have a pretty good idea of how the whole thing played out. And I had the final score, Clemson 31, Louisville 21!
