Okay, so, I’ve been trying to keep up with the Colgate women’s tennis team lately. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you. Today, I really wanted to dig into what’s happening with the Colgate women’s tennis. You know, figure out the roster, who’s playing, and all that stuff.
First off, I started by trying to find out about the team’s roster for this 2024-25 season. I found this page on their official website. It listed all the players, and it was cool to see who’s on the team this year. I recognized a few names from last season, which was neat.
Then I went looking for more information about the players. I learned that you could become a “Recruiting Advantage Member” to see a list of high school players interested in Colgate. That sounds pretty serious! I’m not quite at that level, but it was interesting to know that exists. I also learned that Colgate University is in the “Patriot League” and I found out the coach’s name is “Bobby Pennington”.
Next, I wanted to know if these players get scholarships. I found a page on some “NCSA student-athlete portal” that had info on Colgate University Women’s Tennis and athletic scholarship opportunities. It seems like there are chances to get some financial help to play, which is awesome for the athletes.
After that, I got curious about their schedule. I found their 2022-23 schedule, also on the official Colgate University website. Even though it’s a bit old, it gave me an idea of what their seasons look like. They mentioned something about the “Patriot League Tournament”. I guess that’s a big deal for them. And the team play at “Army West Point”.
So, yeah, that’s pretty much what I’ve learned today about Colgate Women’s Tennis. I’ve checked their roster, schedule, scholarship opportunities and also their coach. It’s been a fun little research project, getting to know more about college tennis and how it all works. It sounds like a pretty exciting world, and those players must work super hard!
