Alright, so, you wanna know ’bout that there Florida State and Syracuse game, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it was a real whoopin’!
Florida State beat Syracuse, and they beat ’em bad. The score? 41 to 3! Yep, 41 to 3. That Syracuse team, they just couldn’t get nothin’ goin’. Florida State, they was like a buncha wildcats, just tearin’ through ’em.
That boy, Jordan Travis, he was somethin’ else. Ran for two touchdowns, he did! And then he threw a long one, a real long one, 56 yards they said, to Keon Coleman for another touchdown. That Coleman boy, he can catch, lemme tell ya.
And then there’s this Jamir Watkins fella. Scored a whole buncha points, 27 they said! And he got 11 of them rebounds too. He was all over the place, like a chicken with its head cut off, but in a good way, ya know?
- Game was on November 12th, so it’s already done and dusted.
- Florida State, they just ran all over Syracuse. Couldn’t stop ’em.
- Score was 41-3. A real blowout, like I said.
They said Florida State was ranked number 4. Number 4! That’s pretty darn good, I reckon. They sure played like it. Syracuse, well, they just looked lost out there.
I heard tell that Florida State, they been to them NCAA tournaments a whole buncha times. Eighteen times, they said! And they went pretty far sometimes too. Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, even the Final Four once. Them boys know how to play some ball, that’s for sure.
This game, it was in Syracuse, I think. But it didn’t matter where it was, Florida State woulda beat ’em anywhere. They was just too strong. Too fast. Too good.
They even put in another quarterback later, Tate Rodemaker. Said they had a big lead, so they let him play a bit. That’s how bad it was. They was already winnin’ by so much, they could give the other fella some time on the field.
I ain’t no expert, mind you, but even I could see that Florida State was the better team. They was just playin’ on a whole ‘nother level. Syracuse, they just couldn’t keep up. They tried, I guess, but it wasn’t enough. Not even close.
So, yeah, that’s the story of that there game. Florida State won, and they won big. 41 to 3. A real stompin’, that’s what it was. Syracuse, they just gotta go back to the drawin’ board and figure things out. Maybe next time they’ll put up a better fight. But this time? This time, it was all Florida State.
