Okay, so I’ve been trying to find a decent place to play basketball in Da Nang, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I started by just, you know, hoping I’d stumble upon a court somewhere.
First, I walked around my neighborhood, eyes peeled for any sign of hoops. Nothing. Then, I expanded my search, venturing further out on my motorbike. I figured parks would be a good bet, right?
My Park Adventures
- I checked out a few local parks, the ones with the exercise equipment and walking paths. Still no luck. I saw plenty of people doing Tai Chi and badminton, but basketball? Nope.
- I even asked a few locals, showing them a picture of a basketball on my phone (language barrier, you know?). They shook their heads, mostly. One guy pointed me towards what turned out to be a soccer field. Close, but no cigar.
I decided to get a little more strategic. I pulled out my phone and started googling. I typed in “Da Nang basketball courts” and a few variations of that. I found some forum posts, but they were pretty old, and the information wasn’t super helpful. I started to think that maybe, just maybe, finding some games is not that easy.
Then finnaly,I found serveral places can play basketball.I chose a court and went to there. There were some guys playing there.I joined * played for about two hours. It was a lot of fun!
So, yeah, finding basketball in Da Nang wasn’t as easy as I thought it would * took some time to find the place. But, I had a good time playing!
