Okay, so let me tell you about this game I watched yesterday. It was the Dayton Flyers against the Ohio State Buckeyes, a college basketball exhibition match. I was really pumped up for this one because, you know, it’s not every day you get to see two big teams go head-to-head before the regular season starts.
I settled into my favorite spot on the couch, grabbed some snacks, and turned on the TV. The game started, and right off the bat, you could feel the energy in UD Arena. Both teams were going at it, but Ohio State, man, they were on fire in the first half. They hit eight out of nine field goals at one point!
- First Half:
- Ohio State was just killing it, hitting almost every shot.
- There was this guy, Malachi Smith, who scored his first bucket of the season. It tied the game at 23-23. I was like, “Who is this guy?”
- Then Cheeks gave Dayton the lead.
I kept checking the stats, and Ohio State was shooting over 55% from the field. Dayton, on the other hand, was struggling a bit, below 40%. But you know how basketball is, it’s a game of runs. Dayton went on a 9-0 run to tie it up after being down 52-43. I thought they were really coming back.
The Turning Point
The turning point, it was crazy! Dayton was back in it, but Ohio State just pulled away in the end. They won 78-70. It was a bummer for Dayton, but honestly, it was a great game to watch.
At the end, I was exhausted, it felt like I played the game myself. A real nail-biter, this one. I can’t wait to see what both teams do in the regular season. That’s my little adventure from yesterday, watching the Dayton vs. Ohio State game. Felt like sharing it with you all.
