Alright, so I’ve been trying to keep up with Linfield football lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a wild ride figuring out when they’re playing. It’s not as straightforward as you might think!
First, I started poking around the internet, just a general search for “Linfield football schedule.” I found a couple of different websites listing their fixtures, but they weren’t all saying the same thing. Some mentioned a match on November 4th, while others didn’t have that date at all. It was a bit confusing, to say the least.
Then, I stumbled upon this one site, I think it was called Flashscore or something like that. It seemed pretty comprehensive, listing all sorts of matches and results. They had a whole section for Linfield, which was helpful. But again, it wasn’t totally clear when the next game was happening.
So, I dug a little deeper. I remembered seeing something about a match against Portadown at Shamrock Park. Apparently, it was supposed to be the 24th matchday of the Sports Direct Premiership, whatever that is. They said the kickoff was at 3 PM, but I wasn’t sure if that was still happening or not.
I kept searching and found another site, it looked like a sports news site, possibly ESPN. It listed the Linfield’s fixtures for the whole season. This was great. It showed all the dates, but without times, which is something I guess.
I also read about some other match. It’s Loughgall versus Linfield, being played at Lakeview Park on a Friday night, October 18th. It said it wasn’t on TV, so I guess I’ll have to find another way to keep up with that one. It’s supposed to start at 7:45 PM.
Honestly, it took way longer than I expected to get a clear picture of Linfield’s schedule. It seems like the information is scattered all over the place, and it’s not always up-to-date.
In the end, I managed to piece together a rough idea of when their next few games are. I think I have a good handle on it now, but who knows, maybe they’ll change something at the last minute! It is what it is, I guess.
