Okay, so, I was digging around the internet the other day, trying to find some info about the Drexel men’s tennis team. You know, just casually browsing, seeing what’s up with them. I’m a big fan of college sports, and tennis is one of those that I really enjoy watching.
First, I went on the main Drexel Athletics website, I guess it’s the official source. I wanted to see the team roster, get a feel for who’s playing this season. And guess what? I found it! The 2022-23 roster was right there, with a list of all the players. And they have an option to see the roster in the view type of List, Card, and Table.
Then, just for kicks, I also looked up the previous year’s roster, the 2021-22 one. It’s always interesting to compare and see who’s new, who graduated, and all that. It had the same format as the 2022-23 roster, which made it easy to compare.
After that, I stumbled upon some news updates. Apparently, the team had a good run at the Saint Joseph’s Fall Invitational. That’s pretty cool! It looks like they’re doing well, winning some matches, I assume. I love reading about that kind of stuff, makes me feel all pumped up for them!
Then I found a page dedicated to the Drexel University Tennis team. It had some basic info about the team, team players, and a photo gallery. Nothing too fancy, but it was cool to see some pictures of the team in action.
Then things got interesting!
I saw something about a Drexel Tennis Alumni & Friends Play Day. It’s like, an event where former players and supporters get together to play some tennis. That sounds like a lot of fun, a real community vibe. It took place on November 9 at 10 AM at the Vidas Courts.
Who’s coaching the team?
I also wanted to know about the coaching staff. Turns out, there’s this guy named Mehdi Rhazali, and he’s the Director of Tennis and Head Coach. Sounds like a big shot! I also found info about the assistant coach and other staff, including part-time and seasonal folks.
Oh, and get this – there’s a Club Tennis team that started in 2007. I didn’t even know they had a club team. It is good for those who want to play tennis but aren’t quite at the varsity level.
So, yeah, that’s basically what I found out about the Drexel men’s tennis team. It was a fun little research session. They seem like a solid team with a good coach, and they’ve got some events going on. I might just have to follow their progress this season. Who knows, maybe I’ll even catch a match sometime!
