Alright, let’s talk about what I did today. I wanted to figure out the schedule for the Drexel men’s tennis team, you know, when they’re playing and all that stuff. I’m a big fan and I like to keep track of these things.
So, first, I started by searching around for any info I could find. It took a bit of digging, but I came across some useful bits and pieces. I saw that Drexel University has an official athletics page. They mentioned the 2022-23 schedule, but I was more interested in what’s coming up, like the 2024-25 schedule. I guess I could have added it to some calendar, but I didn’t bother with that.
I also stumbled upon some updates about specific matches. It looks like they were going to have a Senior Day, Alumni Day, and something called TEAM DRAGON Day on April 14th. Both the men’s and women’s teams were going to play against some opponent from their conference, the CAA.
- They also mentioned a match against Elon in the CAA Men’s Tennis Quarterfinals. Sounds important.
- Then there was something about a match against Penn Quakers in the NCAA (M) on December 7th, 2024. A lot of future stuff!
I kept digging and found a more detailed schedule for 2024-25 on some sports website, but it didn’t have the tennis schedule yet, just basketball. I checked ESPN too, but it seemed they only had the 2024 schedule, not the one I was really after.
After a while, I found a place that had a list of Drexel Dragons scores and fixtures, so I followed their results there. It was a bit all over the place, to be honest.
Other Stuff I Found
While I was searching, I found out that Drexel has a bunch of Division I sports, like over 470 student-athletes in 18 sports. They’re in the Colonial Athletic Association. Oh, and they used to have a football team from 1895 to 1973! That’s a long time ago. Also saw something about Ole Miss Women’s Tennis preparing for their spring schedule, but that’s not what I was looking for.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my adventure today trying to get the Drexel men’s tennis schedule. I got a pretty good idea of some of their upcoming matches, but I’ll have to keep checking for that detailed 2024-25 schedule. It’s a bit messy, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes when you’re digging for information. I think I did a pretty good job, though.
