Alright, so I decided to get into this “e9 hockey league” thing. I’d heard some buzz about it, and, well, I figured, why not give it a shot? I’m always up for trying something new, especially if it involves getting a little active.
First things first, I needed to figure out what this league was all about. I did some digging, you know, the usual online search. I wanted to see what kind of commitment I was getting myself into.
Then Came finding a * wasn’t too bad, after some talk they accepted me in.
Next, I had to actually, you know, play. I’m not exactly a pro athlete or anything, so I was a little nervous. But I laced up my skates (which, by the way, I had to dust off because they hadn’t seen the light of day in ages), and hit the ice.
- First game: Total chaos. I felt like a chicken with its head cut off. I was mostly just trying not to fall down.
- Second game: Slightly less chaotic. I managed to stay upright for most of it, and even got close to the puck a few times!
- Third game: Okay, I’m starting to get the hang of this. I even scored a goal! (It might have been an accident, but hey, a goal’s a goal!)
It’s been a few weeks now, and I’m actually really enjoying it. It’s a great workout, and it’s fun to be part of a team. Plus, it’s a good excuse to hang out with some buddies and have a few laughs.
The Result?
I’m definitely no Wayne Gretzky, but I’m having a blast. I’m getting better with each game, and I’m actually starting to feel like I know what I’m doing out there. It’s not about being the best; it’s about having fun and getting some exercise, and the e9 hockey league is perfect for that.
