Okay, so I wanted to get the Williston hockey schedule sorted out. It’s always a bit of a scramble, you know? So I figured I’d document how I did it this time, might help someone else out (or future me!).
First Attempt – Just Googling It
First, I just did a simple Google search. Typed in “Williston hockey schedule” and hoped for the best. Lots of stuff came up, some old schedules, some links to different teams, it was kind of a mess.
I spent a little time clicking around different search results, but I would end up on some old page from like two years ago. That didn’t work.
Narrowing It Down
Then I got a little smarter. I realized I needed to be more specific. I’m looking for boy’s hockey. So I googled “williston boy’s hockey schedule”.
Still got a bunch of search, I was getting closer to the right sport. So, I thought, “Let’s find the website first,” figuring I might be able to search better and find more options.
Digging Through Search Result
I poked around the search result a bit,I started to see things, but nothing with a simple, clean schedule. Frustrating!
Finally, Success
I found a search result. It’s still a bit of a pain to go through each section, but hey, it’s better than nothing. I can finally see when the games are and plan accordingly.
My main takeaway? Be as specific as possible with your search terms. Adding team level (varsity, JV, etc.) makes the search more clear.
