Hey everyone, so, I was really looking forward to the Florida State Seminoles vs. Virginia Tech Hokies game on October 7th. I mean, I really wanted to see how it would go down.
First off, I did a bit of digging into Virginia Tech’s history. Found out they’re like, the second-best team in college football history that hasn’t won a national title. Pretty impressive, huh? They almost got there with Michael Vick back in ’99 and 2000. That guy was a legend! In fact, I read that Vick’s last game with them was against Clemson, and they totally crushed it. Vick even got the MVP title. Man, his story’s so inspiring, they put him in the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. It got me thinking about how much history these teams carry.
Then, game day arrived. I grabbed some snacks, got comfy on my couch, and tuned in. The game kicked off, and I was glued to the screen. This guy, Trey Benson, really caught my eye. He was on fire! I watched him run like crazy, scoring two touchdowns with runs of 85 and 62 yards. 200 yards in total! Can you believe that? It was a career-best for him. I was literally jumping up and down, cheering him on from my living room.
During the game, I tried to follow all the action online. Checked out some live updates, stats, and even the odds, just to feel more into it. I love that kind of stuff. It makes watching the game even more exciting.
When I looked into the final box score, it was 39-17, with Florida State taking the win. Honestly, it was a wild ride from start to finish. I was so engrossed in the game, yelling at the TV, and celebrating every good play.

Game Day Bullet Points:
After the game, I felt that adrenaline rush, you know? It’s like you’re part of the team in some small way. I spent the rest of the evening reading up more about both teams, their histories, and what this game meant for their seasons.
