Okay, so today I wanted to figure out a way to make a “friendly basketball schedule.” You know, something not too serious, just for fun games with friends. Here’s how I went about it.
Brainstorming
First, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. I like to start old-school. I jotted down all the things I needed to consider:
- How many people are playing?
- How many teams do we want?
- How long should each game be?
- How many games should each team play?
- What days and times are good for everyone?
This was the messy part, just getting all the ideas out.
Gathering Info
Next, I texted my friends. I asked them about their availability, how many games they felt like playing, and if they had any preferences for team sizes.
It took a bit of back-and-forth, but eventually, we settled on:
- 10 players total
- 2 teams of 5
- 20-minute games
- Playing Every Saturday
- Everyone should play at least 2 games
Making the Schedule
Once I had all the info, I create table.
I use pens and paper draw table with names, time and date.
I made sure to rotate the teams so everyone got to play with and against different people. It’s all about mixing it up and keeping it fun, right?
Sharing the Schedule
Finally, I typed up the schedule.I just sent schedule to group chat.
So, that’s it! That’s how I created a friendly basketball schedule. It wasn’t rocket science, just a bit of planning and communication. Now, let’s go shoot some hoops!
