Okay, so, I’m a huge fan of the Maryland Terrapins, especially the women’s tennis team. They’ve been doing pretty well, and I was itching to catch a few of their games this season. I wanted to mark down the dates and plan ahead, you know? So I started my little mission to find their 2023-24 schedule.
I started with a simple search. I figured the university’s official athletics website would have the most accurate info. I typed in something like “Maryland Terrapins women’s tennis schedule” and hit enter.
The first few results were the official site, just like I expected. I clicked through, and there it was, the whole schedule laid out nicely. They had it in a few formats – a grid view, a text list, and even a printable version. Very handy.
Digging Into the Schedule
I went straight for the grid view. I like seeing things visually. The schedule started in September, listing each game with the date, time, and opponent. They even had little icons to show whether it was a home game or away.
- September 15th – 17th: The season opener! I made a note to check if any of those games were at home.
I scrolled through the whole thing, month by month. There were some tournaments mixed in with the regular matches, so I paid close attention to those dates too. I wanted to get a good mix of different types of games.
Making It My Own
After I had a good overview, I decided to make a personalized version of the schedule. I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down the dates that looked most interesting to me. I also noted whether they were home games or not, since I definitely prefer going to the ones in College Park.
Once I had my handwritten list, I felt pretty good. I had a solid plan for which games I wanted to try and catch. It was cool, the process was much simpler than I anticipated, you know, the official website had everything I need. All thanks to the University of Maryland, they really keep their sports info well-organized. It’s not some huge, complex process, but I really enjoy getting myself ready for a game. Feeling ready and excited to cheer on our team!
Now, all I gotta do is wait for the season to kick off. Go Terps!
