Okay, so I was looking into the George Washington University women’s tennis team today, and let me tell you, it was quite the journey. First, I started by checking out the announcement about their new head coach, George Rodriguez. Seems like a big deal, right? They’ve got this whole 2025 schedule lined up, and the team is called the “Revolutionaries.” Kinda cool, I guess.
Then I stumbled upon their Instagram page. They’ve got a decent following – over a thousand followers! Their handle is all about that #RaiseHigh vibe. I scrolled through some of their posts, you know, just to get a feel for the team’s atmosphere.
- Found their Instagram page.
- Checked out some posts.
- Noticed their #RaiseHigh hashtag.
After that, I dug a little deeper and found something about club tennis in the GW Cherry Tree Yearbook. There was also mention of this event called “Duel in the District” hosted by another team. Sounds fun, but I didn’t really care too much about that, to be honest.
Getting to the Core Stuff
Then I moved on to some more serious stuff. I found an article about Tanya Vogel, the Director of Athletics, announcing George Rodriguez as the new head coach. It was pretty standard stuff, nothing too exciting there.
Next, I came across some match results. Apparently, the Fordham Women’s Tennis Team lost to George Washington University 5-2 at some place called the Cary Leeds Center. It was some kind of weekend event, from what I saw. They played somewhere called Life Time Athletic.
Lastly, I checked out the official athletics website. I was really only interested in the women’s team, but they had a page for the men’s tennis team too. Not my thing, so I kinda just skimmed through that part.
So, yeah, that was my little adventure into the world of GW women’s tennis. Got a bit of info on their coach, their team, and some recent matches. Nothing too crazy, but hey, it was something to do. Did all this stuff to learn about the team, and that’s pretty much how it went.
