Okay, here’s my blog post about figuring out the Georgia Superleague Basketball standings:
Alright, so today I wanted to check out how the teams in the Georgia Superleague were doing. You know, just casually see who’s on top and who’s, well, not so on top. I’m not a super hardcore fan, but I like to keep up with it.
The First Try (and Fail)
My first instinct was, of course, just to hit up a major search engine. I typed in something like “Georgia Superleague Basketball Standings” and figured I’d get a nice, clean table right there. Boy, was I wrong.
Digging a Little Deeper
So, the simple search didn’t work. I browsed around a bit.
I had to scan through each team, trying to compare their records, to find their current standings. It was a bit tedious.
Finally Getting Somewhere
I decided to try and get the information, and after some trial and error, I did!
- Current Standings I found a simple table and I made a mental note of which teams were leading and their current standings.
Lessons Learned
Well, this little adventure taught me that sometimes, getting the info you want isn’t as simple as a quick search. It means you need to use multiple pages, and cross-check information to ensure you’re getting the correct records. It’s not exactly rocket science, but it takes a bit of patience.
It is always good to look at multiple resources for verification.
