Okay, so I’ve been trying to keep up with my nephew’s hockey games, he’s playing for Westford Academy, and their schedule is, let me tell you, a bit of a mess to find online. So I decided to figure it out myself and, you know, make it easier for other parents or fans.
Digging for the Schedule
First, I just went to the obvious place, you know tried searching it. But It gave all sorts of random stuff, not the actual schedule.
Then I was fumbling around and found a PDF on. It listed things out,but it wasn’t super user-friendly.
I am not sure if it’s complete list, and that’s kind of * has date time and opponent, but it’s kind of plain looking.
My Makeshift Solution
So, what I ended up doing, because I’m just that kind of person, was manually inputting all the games I could find into my own calendar. Yup, good old copy and paste. I used my Google Calendar, because, well, I use it for everything else anyway.
- Opened Google Calendar: Pretty straightforward, I just went to my calendar.
- Manually Added Events: For each game I found, I clicked on the date, added a title like “WA Hockey vs. Whoever,” put in the time, and set a reminder.
- Checked, Double-Checked: I spent, like, a good half hour making sure I got all the dates and times right. My eyes were kind of crossing by the end.
It’s not perfect, I might have missed a game or two, and it’s definitely not automatically updated. But it’s better than nothing! Now, at least I have a handy place to see when the games are. And I shared it with my sister, so she’s happy too.
Honestly, there’s gotta be a better * anyone finds a cleaner, more official, always-updated schedule, please let me know!
