Okay, so I’ve been trying to get a handle on what’s going on with Gordon State College football. It’s been a bit of a maze, honestly!
First, I started by just hitting up Google. I mean, where else do you start, right? I typed in “Gordon State football” and, well, let’s just say the results weren’t exactly overflowing with info about a powerhouse football program.
Digging a Little Deeper
I noticed a lot of the top hits were about the college itself – you know, general info, admissions stuff, academic programs. Nothing specifically shouting “football team!” at me.
Then I spent some time poking around the Gordon State College website. I figured, if anyone’s gonna know, it’s them. I scrolled through their athletics section, looking for any mention of a football team, a schedule, anything at all. I’m clicking on menus, sub-menus… the whole nine yards.
The Realization (Kind Of)
- I did find plenty about their other sports. Basketball, baseball, softball – they’ve got those covered.
- But football? No dice.
So, I started to piece things together. It looks to me like, at least right now, Gordon State College doesn’t actually have a football program. Now, I’m not saying they never will, or that they never did. I’m no expert but it would appear to me that this is the case.
Honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. I was hoping to find some game schedules, player profiles, maybe even some cool team history. But hey, that’s how it goes sometimes. I’ll keep my eyes peeled, though – maybe they’ll announce something in the future. Who knows!
