Okay, so today I’m diving into something a bit different, but stick with me. I wanted to check out the Hofstra University Women’s Tennis team. You know, just to see what their deal is for this 2024-25 season.
First off, I grabbed my laptop and started digging around. I mean, who doesn’t just hit up the internet first these days? I typed in “Hofstra University Women’s Tennis” and started scrolling through whatever popped up. There wasn’t a ton of stuff, but I found some bits and pieces about their roster and schedule.
I noticed they have some information about the 2024-25 roster, so that got me interested. It looks like they update this stuff every year, which makes sense. I saw they had the 2022-23 roster information too. It’s cool to see how the team changes over time, who’s new, who’s graduated, that sort of thing.
Past results
Then I looked into their past results. There’s this page with the 2023-24 schedule and results. I went through it game by game, I mean why not? I even looked at their overall record for the 2022-23 season, which was 2-15. They had a rough time, but it seems like they did better in their conference, with a 1-3 record. That’s something, right?
Social media
Of course, I had to check out their social media. Found their Instagram profile, and they’ve got around 1,062 followers. Not bad for a college tennis team. I scrolled through their posts, saw some match day photos, some behind-the-scenes stuff. It’s always cool to get that kind of glimpse into the team’s life.
Recent News
- I found a post saying they were returning to the court soon. So they’re still active, that’s good.
- Another post mentioned a win over Binghamton in their regular season finale. Nice way to end the season!
- It looks like they want to make some noise in the Colonial Athletic Association, their conference.
So that’s basically what I did today. Just poked around, got a feel for the Hofstra University Women’s Tennis team. They seem like a dedicated bunch, and I’ll probably check in on them again to see how they’re doing throughout the season. It’s always fun to follow a team, even if it’s just from your computer screen.
