Okay, so I’ve been meaning to check out the tennis courts at Towson University for a while now. I heard they’ve got some pretty sweet courts, and as a tennis nut, I just had to see for myself. So, here’s how my little adventure went down.
First off, I looked up where they were, and boom – 200 University Ave, Towson. Easy enough. I grabbed my racket, some balls, and a water bottle, and headed out. I got there and saw the courts – it’s called the Tiger Tennis Complex. Sounds pretty fierce, right?
As I walked in, I noticed there were ten courts. Ten! That’s a lot of space to play. They looked like they were in top shape, too, regulation courts, and all that jazz. This place is legit for any serious tennis player. I started to hit some balls around, just getting a feel for the courts. They were nice and smooth, the bounce was good, and I could tell these courts were well-maintained. Perfect for a good game.

While I was there, I saw a few people practicing. I even overheard that the university’s tennis team practices there, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Makes sense, these courts are definitely varsity level. It got me thinking, maybe I should join a club or something. It would be cool to play with others who love the game as much as I do.
I also found out that Towson University has women’s tennis at the varsity level in NCAA Division I. That’s some serious stuff! It’s awesome to see such high-level play happening right here.
After a good while of hitting balls and enjoying the courts, I packed up my stuff. I had a blast and was really impressed with the facilities. If you’re around Towson and looking for a great place to play tennis, I highly recommend checking out these courts. You won’t be disappointed!
