Okay, so today I decided to dive into something I’ve been meaning to check out for a while – “John Henderson Basketball.” I’d heard some buzz about it, figured it was worth a shot. Here’s how it went down:
First, I started by doing some basic searching. Just wanted to get a feel for what it was all about, you know? Found some videos, a few articles, the usual stuff.
Then, I moved on to actually trying to find some drills or training programs. I figured the best way to understand it was to, well, do it. That’s where things got a little tricky.
- I searched for specific “John Henderson Basketball drills.”
- I looked through a bunch of YouTube videos. Lots of clips, but not many full workouts.
- I tried to find a website or something official, but no luck there.
After that, I decided to just focus on the core principles I could find. Seemed like a lot of emphasis on fundamentals, like ball-handling, footwork, and shooting form. Nothing groundbreaking, but solid stuff.
I spent a good hour just practicing some basic dribbling drills. Crossovers, behind-the-back, that kind of thing. Felt good to get a sweat going, even if it wasn’t anything fancy.
I moved my body to the baskerball court, I borrow a basketball from my friend.
Next, I worked on my shooting form. Really tried to focus on keeping my elbow in, following through, all that good stuff. Again, nothing revolutionary, but it’s always good to reinforce the basics.
I did some shooting train from different distances. I also imagined I was Henderson. haha.
My Takeaway
Honestly, it felt like a pretty standard basketball workout. I didn’t find anything super unique about the “John Henderson” approach, but it was a good reminder to focus on the fundamentals. Maybe I need to dig deeper, but for a first try, it was just a solid practice session. I think I will keep doing and search more about it.
