Okay, so today I decided to dive into this “Beast Hockey League” thing. I’d heard some buzz about it, figured I’d see what it’s all about. First thing I did was, you know, just Googled it. Found a bunch of stuff, mostly about some youth hockey programs, nothing that really screamed “Beast Hockey League.”
So, I narrowed down my search a bit. I tried adding things like “adult league,” “competitive,” “beer league,” stuff like that. Still, it was kind of a mess. Lots of different leagues came up, but none of them were exactly what I was looking for. It was kind of frustrating, to be honest.
Digging Deeper
Next, I thought, maybe I should check out some local hockey forums. I figured, who better to ask than people who are actually playing, right? I posted a question, something like, “Hey, anyone heard of a ‘Beast Hockey League’? Looking for something competitive but fun.”
- Got a few responses, mostly people just recommending other leagues in the area.
- One guy said he thought he’d heard of it, but it was more of an “invite-only” kind of thing.
- Another person suggested it might be a nickname for a particularly tough division in a larger league.
That “invite-only” thing piqued my interest. So I started searching for local leagues, looking at their different divisions, checking out their websites, all that jazz. I spent a good couple of hours on this, clicking through pages and pages of team names and schedules. Still no “Beast Hockey League.”
Maybe I Got it Wrong?
At this point, I was starting to think maybe I’d misheard the name, or maybe it was just a really small, underground thing. I went back to the original source – the friend who told me about it – and asked him for more details. Turns out, I did get it slightly wrong. He said it was actually called “Best Hockey League. A bit different I know.”
So, yeah, that’s my “Beast Hockey League” adventure. Started with a vague idea, went down a bunch of rabbit holes, and ended up realizing I had the wrong name the whole time! Funny how things work * I did got the correct name in the end!
