Well, let me tell ya, this boy Kiernan Poulin, he’s somethin’ else! Born back in 2006, on January 5th, over in Norwell, Massachusetts, right in the good ol’ United States of America. Now, don’t get me wrong, he ain’t the biggest lad you ever saw—5’9” tall, weighs about 151 pounds—but let me tell ya, what he lacks in size, he sure makes up for with skill! You know, in the hockey world, it’s not always about how big you are, but how fast and smart you can be out there on that ice. And Kiernan, well, he’s got both of those down pat.
He plays as a defenseman, and let me tell ya, that’s an important job! While them forwards are busy tryin’ to score goals, the defensemen like Kiernan are the ones keepin’ things from gettin’ too messy in front of the goal. He’s out there stoppin’ the other team from gettin’ any easy shots, and when he gets the puck, he makes sure to clear it right outta there. Some folks might say it’s a dirty job, but it’s mighty important!
Now, this young fella, he’s been gettin’ a lotta attention. He played for Lovell Academy’s 16U team last year, and boy, he sure made a name for himself. He got himself noticed by some big teams, and I’m sure glad to say that he’s committed to playin’ for the Merritt Centennials in the BCHL, that’s the British Columbia Hockey League. That’s a real big deal, ya know? A lot of folks are thinkin’ he’s got a bright future ahead of him.
But it don’t stop there, nope. Kiernan Poulin, he’s also been recruited to UMass, and that’s real special. He’s part of a fine group of recruits they got over there, includin’ Tory Pitner and Theo Kiss, both of ’em real good players too. Looks like this young fella’s got a good head on his shoulders and a whole lotta potential for what’s comin’ next in his hockey career.
Now, don’t be fooled by all the fancy talk about recruits and commits and all that stuff. All you really need to know is this: Kiernan Poulin’s a name you’re gonna wanna remember. He’s workin’ hard, he’s got the talent, and he’s makin’ all the right moves to get where he wants to be. So, mark my words, this young man’s gonna be a big deal in the world of hockey before too long!
If you’re a fan of the game, or if you got kids playin’ hockey, you best keep an eye on him. You never know when one of them young stars is gonna come outta nowhere and take the game by storm. And from what I see, Kiernan’s one of those kids who’s gonna do just that!
