Okay, so let me tell you about this whole thing with Lafayette men’s tennis.
It all started when I stumbled upon some info about the Lafayette College Leopards tennis team. I’ve always kinda followed tennis, you know, catching the big matches on TV and all. But I never really dug into college tennis before.
So, I started poking around, trying to find out more about this team. First, I checked out their roster for the 2023-24 season. Lots of names I didn’t recognize, obviously, but it was cool to see where they all came from. Then I looked up their schedule, you know, see who they were playing.
I also found some news about them being ready for some big tournament. Sounds like they were gonna have a tough go of it. And apparently, they had just pulled off a huge 4-3 win against Colgate University. That’s a big deal because they hadn’t beaten them since 2008. Can you imagine? I read through that article like three times – it was like a movie, that match was a real nail-biter.

Digging Deeper
Then I found out about their first fall season at Bloomsburg Invitational, which is usually a long, three-day thing. Oh man, that sounds intense, right? I also spotted a spotlight on some player, a sophomore named Trey Fallon. This guy was apparently grinding hard, getting ready to “come out swinging.” I guess that’s what you gotta do in college tennis, huh?
Finally, I ended up on their official Instagram. It’s full of team photos and stuff. They’re all part of the NCAA Division I and the Patriot League, which I guess is a pretty big deal. And their hashtag is #RollPards. I think that’s kinda catchy.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure into the world of Lafayette men’s tennis. It’s way more interesting than I thought it would be. It gets you thinking, who knows what stories these players have? Anyway, I just wanted to share this with y’all. Maybe I’ll even try to catch one of their matches sometime.
