Okay, so the other day, I headed over to the Lenz Tennis Center. I’ve been really wanting to play tennis more, and I heard this place was good.
Getting Started
- I packed my tennis bag with my racket, some balls, water, and a towel. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was excited to check it out.
- I drove to Hightstown, NJ, where the center is located. The drive was pretty easy, and I found the place without any trouble.
First Impressions
- When I walked in, I was pretty impressed. The place looked really nice and well-maintained. They had a bunch of courts, both indoors and outdoors.
- I talked to the person at the front desk, and they were super friendly. They showed me around and explained how everything worked.
Hitting the Courts
- I decided to rent a court for an hour. I just wanted to hit some balls around and get a feel for the place.
- The courts were in great shape. The surface was nice, and the nets were in good condition. I started hitting, and it felt really good to be back on the court.
- I practiced my serves, forehands, and backhands. I even tried to work on my volleys a bit. It was a good workout, and I was having a lot of fun.
Exploring the Facility
- After I finished playing, I decided to look around some more. They had a pro shop with all kinds of tennis gear. I browsed through the rackets and clothes, but I didn’t buy anything this time.
- I also checked out the viewing area. You could watch people playing on the courts from there. It was a nice place to relax and take a break.
Final Thoughts
- Overall, I had a great time at the Lenz Tennis Center. It’s a really nice facility, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
- I definitely plan to go back there again. I might even sign up for some lessons or join a league. I think it’s a great place to play tennis, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player.
