Alright, so I wanted to put together the 2013 Ohio State basketball roster. I’m a huge Buckeyes fan, and that 2012-2013 season was a wild ride. We made it to the Elite Eight! But, you know, memory gets fuzzy over time, so I figured it was time to do some digging and make sure I had all the names right.
First thing I did was check the list of names. I looked at the players who were on that team.
- Aaron Craft
- Lenzelle Smith Jr.
- Deshaun Thomas
- Evan Ravenel
- Sam Thompson
- Shannon Scott
- Amir Williams
- LaQuinton Ross
- Amedeo Della Valle
- J.D. Weatherspoon
- Jake Lorbach
- Evan Ravenel
Man, seeing those names brought back some memories. Aaron Craft was such a pest on defense. And Deshaun Thomas? That dude could score. It was a solid squad, for sure. I found myself going down memory lane, watching old game highlights on YouTube. Remember that game against Michigan? Or the tournament run? Good times.
Double-Checking and Finalizing
After getting the list, I checked some stats from that year. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anyone or mixing up names. The internet is great for this kind of stuff. You can find all sorts of old sports data if you look in the right places.
Once I felt good about the list, I made the roster myself. Felt good to have it all laid out. I even added what position they played, their class, and where they are from. Makes it feel more official. Also I felt like I was back in college, following the team religiously.
So there you have it – my little project of putting together the 2013 Ohio State basketball roster. It was a fun trip down memory lane, and now I have a nice, organized list of players from a season I’ll always remember. I might do this for other favorite teams and seasons. It’s a fun way to kill some time and relive some great sports memories!
