First, I fired up my computer. My initial thought was to do a quick search and gather standings information for the whole conference.
After I got the results, I started putting everything into a simple, readable format. You know, just team names, wins, losses, and conference records. Nothing fancy, just the essential info.
I focused on organizing the teams by their divisions, East and West.
It was all coming together.
Ohio State, Wisconsin these two are the top teams in the conference in 2014.
