Okay, so today I decided to finally tackle that project I’ve been putting off – figuring out the whole Berkshire hockey rink deal. I’d heard about it, seen some pictures online, but I really wanted to get the full picture myself. So, here’s how I did it!
First, I got my trusty notebook and a pen, because old-school note-taking is still the best for me. I just think better that way, you know?
Then I started digging. It’s all about using the search tools, and today I was on a roll.
My Research Process
- I started broad. Just simple searches to get a feel for what was out there. Like, “Berkshire hockey rink dimensions” or “public skating at Berkshire rink.” Basic stuff.
- Then, I got more specific. Once I had a general idea, I started looking for things like “Berkshire rink schedule” and “youth hockey programs at Berkshire.”
- I even looked at maps. I wanted to see where it was exactly, and see if I could find anything interesting around. I could picture it in my head better that way.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing, I hit some information. After a while, I was starting to get a bit tired. My brain felt a little fried from all the details. But I didn’t give up!
I took a break, grabbed a drink, and then came back to it with fresh eyes. That helped a lot! I started organizing all the notes I’d taken, putting things into categories like “schedule,” “programs,” and “location.” It helped to create a more clear view for my research.
Finally, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on the Berkshire hockey rink. I had all this info, all these details, and I felt like I could actually talk about it and know what I was talking about. I was pretty proud of myself for sticking with it and getting it done!
