Okay, so I was digging into the Brown women’s tennis roster today. You know, just casually browsing, because why not?
First, I started by searching for the official site. I typed in “Brown University women’s tennis roster” and clicked on the first result I saw. That took me straight to the Brown Bears’ athletic page.
Once I was on the page, I could see a few options for how to view the roster: List, Card, and Table. I played around with these a bit. The List view was pretty basic, just names and some basic info. The Card view had photos, which was cool, but the Table view was where it was at. It had all the details – year, height, hometown, everything.
I also noticed a “Jump to Coaches” button. Naturally, I clicked it. That took me to a section with all the coaching staff listed. It had their names and titles. That was interesting to see who’s behind the team.
- Went to the official Brown University athletic page.
- Checked out different roster views: List, Card, and Table.
- Explored the coaching staff section.
Then I got a bit sidetracked and started looking up some social media stuff. I found an Instagram page, but it didn’t have a ton of followers. It looked like around 1,352 followers and 200 following. Not as much engagement as I expected, honestly.
There was also a Facebook page I stumbled upon, “Brown Women’s Tennis.” This one had about 684 likes, and it mentioned “Bruno” a lot. I guess that’s their mascot or something?
Social Media Deep Dive
- Found an Instagram page, but the following wasn’t huge.
- Discovered a Facebook page with some activity.
After that, I went back to the official site and saw that the head coach, Lucie Schmidahuser, had announced the 2025 spring schedule. They’re kicking things off with two home matches in January. First, they’re playing Boston College on January 20th, and then Bryant on February 2nd.
There was also some news about some of their players heading to the NCAA National Tennis Championships. Pretty impressive! I saw some names mentioned – Dakota Fordham, Isabella Hartman, Jimena Menendez, and Boren Zheng. Looks like they have some strong players.
Schedule and Player Achievements
- Checked out the 2025 spring schedule announcement.
- Learned about some players going to the NCAA championships.
Oh, and I found out that Brown University is in Providence, Rhode Island. That’s where all the tennis action is happening.
So yeah, that was my little adventure exploring the Brown women’s tennis roster. It was more interesting than I thought it would be! I mean, I was just looking for a simple roster, but I ended up finding all sorts of stuff. It’s cool to see how much info is out there if you just start digging around a bit.
