Okay, so, I was trying to find the roster for the Iowa City West High basketball team. I started by looking around online, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.
First, I searched for the team’s information. I found some stuff about the school, like their address and general sports info. They had all kinds of information about the girl’s team and the freshman team, like their schedules and even some news articles, but not the varsity boys. I found some girls’ names though: Tamiah Teran, Ava Frese, Lucy Wolf, Makayla Bryant, and Rinoa Sainsbury. Cool, but not what I was after.
Then, I tried to dig deeper into specific years. I looked for the 2024-2025 roster, but it seemed like it wasn’t available yet. It looks like they haven’t put it out. I saw a note saying, “The roster has not been submitted yet,” and something about how you could help the team. I guess they’re still figuring things out.
I did find some names from previous years, though. Like, for the 2022-2023 season, I saw the name Jack McCaffery listed. So, that was kind of helpful, but it still didn’t give me the current roster.
I also found a schedule for the 2021-2022 team. It was cool, but not very useful for what I needed.
So, after all that searching, I still haven’t found the current roster. It looks like the team is called the Iowa City West Trojans, but the roster just isn’t available yet.
