Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with something I’ve been thinking about for a while – the Weymouth High hockey schedule. Now, I’m no expert, but I’m a huge fan, and I always want to know when the games are, especially the big ones.
First thing I did was, I just hit up Google, you know, the usual. Typed in “Weymouth High hockey schedule,” and a bunch of stuff popped up. Some of it was old, some was new, it was a real mixed bag.
Digging Through the Info
So, I started clicking around. Found a couple of different websites that had some schedule information. One was the school’s official site, but it was kind of clunky. It wasn’t super easy to find what I was looking for, you know? Had to click through a few pages. Then I found some other sports sites that had the schedule, but they also had schedules for like a million other teams. It was kind of overwhelming.
I spent a good chunk of time just comparing the information on these different sites. Some of them had dates, some had times, some even had the locations of the games. It was all over the place.
Making My Own List
After a while, I decided, “Screw it, I’m just gonna make my own list.” I opened up a Google Sheet and started plugging in the information I found. I put the dates in one column, the times in another, the opponents in another, and the locations in another. It was kind of tedious, but I wanted to have all the info in one place, easy to see.
I made sure to double-check everything, you know, cross-referencing between the different websites. Didn’t want to accidentally put down the wrong time or something.
The Final Product
Finally, after a few hours, I had a pretty decent-looking schedule. I even highlighted the home games in yellow, just to make them stand out. It wasn’t perfect, I’m sure there were some mistakes here and there, but it was good enough for me. I could finally see all the upcoming games at a glance.
- Date
- Time
- Opponent
- Location
So yeah, that’s how I spent my afternoon – diving into the world of high school hockey schedules. It was a bit more work than I expected, but it was kind of satisfying to have my own customized schedule at the end. Now I’m all set for the season, go Wildcats!
