Okay, so today I decided to dig into the Malden Catholic girls’ hockey team. I’ve heard some buzz about them, and I wanted to see what their program is all about. So I started, as usual, with some good old searching.
First, I tried to find their official team website. You know, the place where they’d have schedules, rosters, maybe some news. That was a bit of a bust, honestly. I found some general school athletic pages, but nothing specific to the girls’ hockey team.
Then, I moved to searching.I typed in “Malden Catholic girls hockey” and some variations of that. Mostly it gave me general information about Malden Catholic High School or about the boys hockey.I tried more keywords such as ‘schedule’, ‘roster’, ‘news’ and so on.
After spending some time, I realized that my searching was fruitless.
My Next Move
Thinking I might have better luck with a different approach, I decided to change my plan. I’m thinking maybe local newspapers or hockey-focused websites might have some coverage. It’s probably going to take a little more digging, but that’s okay.
So, that’s where I’m at right now. It wasn’t the easiest search today, but it’s all part of the process. I’ll keep you guys posted on what I find!
