Okay, so, I’ve been following the Maryland Terrapins soccer team for a while now, and I gotta say, this season has been a rollercoaster! I was super stoked about their recent games, especially with all the talk about them potentially topping the Big Ten standings. I started to check out their recent scores and games to get a full picture of what’s happening.
First off, I looked at that match where they tied with Indiana. It was a nail-biter! They were so close to being the only team at the top, but, well, a tie is still a point, right? That match, I remember, kept me on the edge of my seat. I watched the game until the last second.
Then there was that incredible comeback win! I was glued to the screen. Down in the fourth quarter, and boom! Billy Edwards Jr. scores a rushing touchdown with less than a minute left. I jumped out of my chair, man! That was their biggest fourth-quarter comeback in five seasons. I was so proud of them. I texted all my friends about it immediately.
I also dug into their game against the Indiana Hoosiers. It was a high-scoring game, 42-28, and even though they lost, it was still a wild ride. Lots of back and forth, and those turnovers, ugh, don’t get me started! I really felt their frustration.
And the NCAA tournament! They smashed it in the first round against the Sharks, 5-2. Five goals! I was watching, yelling at the screen, cheering them on like a maniac. That game was such a blast, I rewatched some of the goals later that night.
