Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with getting hockey standings, specifically for the MASCAC. It’s not exactly the NHL, but hey, gotta support the local teams, right?
First, I fired up my browser. Just went straight to Google, my usual starting point for these things.
I typed in “MASCAC hockey standings,” pretty straightforward, I’d like to think so.
Digging Through the Results
The first thing showing up is, I could see a bunch of links, college sites, and the MASCAC’s official page. I clicked around a few, just to see what was what.
I found a table, it looked right. The current winner is… And their loss is…
I played around the page.
- Checked wins, losses, ties.
- Noticed some teams were doing way better than others.
- Looked for any patterns, you know, like home-ice advantage or something. Nothing jumped out at me right away, but, I could see a potential trend.
Wrapping Up
So, that’s basically it. I got the MASCAC hockey standings. Wasn’t rocket science, but it was fun to poke around and see how the teams are doing. Maybe next time I’ll try to make a fancy chart or something, but for today, just getting the raw data was good enough.
