Okay, so, I’ve been digging into the MIAA hockey tournament results lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. First off, I started by scouring the web for any info I could find on the tournament.
I stumbled upon this blog, “MassNZ,” that was supposed to be live-updating the MIAA State Finals. Seemed legit, right? So I clicked in, hoping for some real-time scores and updates. Well, turned out it wasn’t as “live” as I’d hoped. A bit of a letdown there, but I didn’t let it stop me.
Next, I found some chatter about the Division 3 boys’ hockey state tournament. Apparently, the bracket was out, and this team, Nauset Regional, was the top seed. They had a pretty sweet record, 18-1-1. I made a mental note to keep an eye on them, figuring they’d be a team to watch.
Then, I dove into this site called “My Hockey Live.” This was more like it. They claimed to broadcast live Massachusetts high school, prep, club, and amateur hockey games. Plus, they had news, stats, and standings. It was a goldmine! I started browsing through their listings, trying to find the specific games I was interested in. It took some time to navigate through all the info, but I managed to find some of the past match results.
Here’s what I managed to piece together
- Nauset Regional really did dominate in the early rounds. No surprise there, given their record.
-
There were a couple of upsets that I definitely didn’t see coming. I mean, who would’ve thought that the underdogs could pull off those wins? Crazy stuff.
-
I got really invested in a few of the games. I was refreshing the pages like crazy, hoping for updates. The tension was real, let me tell you!
All in all, it’s been a fun little project, piecing together the tournament results. Not gonna lie, I got pretty into it. The MIAA hockey scene is definitely more exciting than I initially thought. Now, to share this with my subscribers!
