Okay, so I’ve been trying to get a better handle on keeping track of tennis scores, specifically for the Miami Open. It’s always a bit of a mess, trying to remember who played who, and what the scores were. I figured there had to be a better way than just scribbling on scraps of paper.
I started by just trying to keep a simple list. You know, like:
- Player A vs. Player B: 6-4, 7-5
- Player C vs. Player D: 6-3, 6-3
That was… okay. It was better than nothing, but it got messy fast, especially when I wanted to note down specific sets or if there were tie-breaks. It felt very disorganized very quickly.
Then, I thought, “Maybe I should put it in a sort of table?” So I tried this:
Match Set 1 Set 2Set3
Player A vs Player B 6-47-5 –
That’s much better, it’s easy to find any match scores. I can quickly look up the match and scores. It helps me a lot!
I played around with it for a bit, and I’m pretty happy with how simple and effective it is. It’s nothing fancy, I’m keeping things simple, I just want it to work. Finally I can enjoy the game without missing anything!
