Well, I don’t know much ’bout this fancy “Mount Pleasant Football Score” stuff, but I’ll tell ya what I can. Seems like folks are awful interested in them football games the young’uns play. Heard tell it’s a big deal.
Now, they got this team, Mount Pleasant, and they play other schools, like South Allegheny. Sounds important. One time, Mount Pleasant beat them South Allegheny fellas, 42 to 27. That’s a lot of points, I reckon. Don’t rightly know how they score ’em, but a win’s a win, ain’t it?
- They got a schedule, whatever that is. Guess it tells ya when they play.
- And a roster, that’s probably a list of them young fellas that run around.
- They even got somethin’ called “Alumni.” Must be the old timers who used to play.
Folks keep track of all this on somethin’ called the internet. It’s like a magic box, I tell ya. You can find all sorts of things on it. Scores, news, schedules… the whole shebang.
They got this place, Viking Stadium, where they play some games. And they call one game against Southmoreland the “Real Backyard Brawl.” Sounds like a rough game, all that brawlin’. Probably a lot of hollerin’ and runnin’ around.
I heard tell Mount Pleasant likes to run the ball. Ten out of eleven plays, they say. Guess they ain’t too keen on passin’ it. Just runnin’ and runnin’, like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. But hey, if it works, it works. Can’t argue with a win, that’s for sure.
Mount Pleasant, they got a bunch of different teams, I think. Varsity, that’s the big boys, I guess. And they got boys’ basketball and girls’ basketball too. Busy little bees, them young’uns. Always runnin’ around, playin’ games.
They got a fella named Mr. Pleasant runnin’ things, I figure. That or it’s the name of the town, can’t rightly say. Seems like a nice enough place, Mount Pleasant, if you like all that football and runnin’ around.
I don’t know nothin’ about this “National Football League” they talk about, but I guess it’s somethin’ to do with football. Probably more runnin’ around and yellin’. And them “Tags” they talk about, I reckon it’s like when you tag somethin’ at a store, so’s you know what it is. They got “High School Football” tags, “Varsity Football” tags… all sorts of tags.
So, if you wanna know more ‘bout the “Mount Pleasant Football Score,” you gotta go look it up on that there internet thing. They got all the information you could ever want. Me, I’m just an old woman. I don’t understand all this fancy stuff. But I do know a win when I see one. And Mount Pleasant seems to be doin’ a lot of winnin’ lately.
