Okay, so I’ve been wanting to really dig into the Murray State football uniforms, like, really get a good look at them. I’ve always thought they were pretty sharp, but I wanted to see all the details up close.
First, I started by hitting up the usual spots online. You know, just doing some basic searches to see what I could find. I was mainly looking for pictures,lots and lots of pictures,anything that would give me a good view of the uniforms from different angles and in different lighting.
I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling through images. I wanted to See the helmets, the jerseys, the pants, everything! And not just the current ones, I was hoping to find some older versions too, to see how the design has changed over time.
Then I started to look to see if fans had put up some detail about the uniforms.
After that, I started getting into it. I was taking notes, sketching out some of the details I noticed, like the stripes on the sleeves, the logo placement, the font of the numbers, little things like that.
I was really trying to put all the pieces together. Like, how do all the different parts of the uniform work together as a whole? What’s the overall vibe they’re going for? Stuff like that.
It’s kind of a fun little project, to be honest. It’s like a puzzle, trying to figure out all the design choices and how they all came together to create these iconic Murray State football uniforms. I’m not totally done yet, but I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on them now!
