Oh, let me tell ya ’bout them New Holstein football boys. They’ve been playin’ hard, real hard, and the folks in town are mighty proud of ’em. Just this past Friday, them Huskies went and won themselves a big ol’ game, 27-13 it was. That there win got ‘em into the playoffs, and let me tell ya, that’s a big deal ’round these parts. Friday night games, lights shinin’, the smell of popcorn, and everyone cheerin’, it’s somethin’ special.
Them boys, they been practicin’ day and night. Now, I ain’t no expert or nothin’, but when ya see ’em out there hustlin’, ya know they got heart. That Mark Sherry fella, he done wrote about it, said somethin’ ’bout them qualifyin’ for the playoffs. Now, I don’t much care for all them fancy words, but the main thing is, they won. That’s what counts. I reckon the whole town’s been buzzin’ since Friday.
Schedule and all that
Now, I hear they got a few more games comin’ up, and it don’t hurt to take a peek at that schedule. I seen it on the interwebs, New Holstein’s got some tough teams ahead. But ya know, them boys, they don’t back down from a challenge. No sir! They’ll be out there givin’ it all they got, and we’ll be right there, cheerin’ ‘em on. The next game? Well, that’ll be one to watch, for sure.
I hear folks talkin’ ’bout all the players, sayin’ this one’s real fast, and that one’s strong as an ox. It’s a team effort though, that’s what I think. They play together, win together. Just like how it oughta be. I tell ya, when them Huskies hit that field, they play like they’re fightin’ for the whole town. It’s somethin’ to see. And if ya can’t get to the game, don’t worry none, they got them livestreams goin’ now. You can watch from home, though it ain’t the same as bein’ there, hearin’ the crowd yellin’ and seein’ it all up close.
Rosters and Rankings
Now, if ya wanna know who’s playin’ on the team, they got them rosters posted too. Names, numbers, all that stuff. They even got them fancy rankings. I don’t know much ’bout rankings, but they tell ya how good the teams are doin’. New Holstein’s movin’ up, that’s for sure. I hear they’ve been doin’ better and better each season, and this year, well, they’re already headin’ to them playoffs. If ya ask me, that’s somethin’ to be proud of.
Them Huskies are tough, but they’re humble too. Ain’t no braggin’ or nothin’. Just hard work, and that’s how it should be. The coaches, well, they got them boys workin’ real hard, and it’s payin’ off. The way they run, throw, and tackle—boy, I wouldn’t wanna be the other team. I reckon they’ll keep goin’ far if they keep playin’ like this. We’ll see where the season takes ’em, but I got a good feelin’ ’bout it.

Now, if ya wanna know when them games are, I found some dates for ya. Looks like they got a few more Fridays comin’ up with some real tough matchups. That Rivertown team’s got a reputation, but I reckon our Huskies can take ‘em. Oakwood? They’re good too, but I got faith in our boys. And Pine Valley? Well, that’s a game I’ll be sure to watch. It’s all gettin’ real excitin’, with playoffs right ’round the corner and all.
