Okay, so I’m a huge college football fan, and living in Ohio, you gotta pick a side. It’s either the Buckeyes or the Bobcats, right? I started digging into their uniforms this week, because, well, why not? I wanted to see what options were out there, whether I was looking for myself or wanted to get something for my kids.
First, I just started poking around, checking out some of the usual places that sell fan gear. The official university shops, places like Lids, Fanatics – you know the drill. I just wanted to get a general feel for what was available.
I started with the Ohio State stuff. Man, they have a ton of National Champions gear right now. It makes sense, they did just win it all! It was easy to find shirts commemorating the championship. I saw a lot of different styles, from basic tees to nicer, more expensive stuff. Plenty of options for men, women, and kids, too. No shortage there.
Then I moved on to Ohio University. Their online shop had a decent selection, too. I saw both football and basketball jerseys, which was cool. It seems like they really want fans to be decked out, no matter the season.
I spent some time looking at the different jersey styles. Most of what I found were replica jerseys. They look just like what the players wear on the field, which is pretty awesome. I was impressed with the quality, too. These weren’t cheap knockoffs; they felt like they were made to last, which is important if you’re going to be wearing them to games and tailgates.
The Fanatics site had a whole bunch of Bobcats football jerseys. They had a ton of different styles and sizes. It was almost overwhelming, but it was also cool to see so many options. I could definitely find something I liked there.
I also stumbled upon this place called Gameday Spirit. I had never heard of them before, but they had a bunch of Bobcat gear. T-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys – the whole nine yards. It was another solid option for fans looking to show their support.

Here’s what I really took away from this little research project:
So yeah, that’s basically my deep dive into Ohio football uniforms. It was a fun little project, and now I have a much better idea of where to look when I’m ready to buy some new gear. Go Bucks or Bobcats!
