Okay, so I wanted to finally get a definitive list of the 2016 Ohio State Buckeyes football roster. I’ve seen bits and pieces here and there, but nothing concrete all in one place. So, I decided to just make one myself!
Getting Started
First, I pulled up a bunch of different websites. You know, the usual suspects – sports news sites, fan forums, even the official Ohio State athletics page. I figured I’d need to cross-reference a few sources to make sure I got everything right.
Compiling the Data
It was a bit of a pain, honestly. Some sites had, like, half the roster, others had outdated info. I basically opened up a simple spreadsheet and started copying and pasting names, positions, numbers – the whole nine yards. I made sure to note which site I got each piece of info from, just in case I needed to double-check something later.
Sorting and Cleaning
Once I had a big, messy list, I started organizing it. I sorted by position first – quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, you get the idea. Then, within each position, I sorted alphabetically by last name. Just trying to make it as user-friendly as possible.
Double-Checking and Verification
This was probably the most tedious part. I went back to those original websites and cross-referenced everything. Did the jersey numbers match? Did the positions line up? If I found any discrepancies, I dug a little deeper to figure out which source was most likely correct. It was like being a detective, but for football rosters!
The roster is formed
- I created a complete and sortable digital roster.
- double-checked any information that seemed off.
Finally I have completed to make my roster for myself!
