Like a uniform, but you just hang it up, I guess. Pictures too, pictures of the players. Signed pictures. Lots of signin’ goin’ on.
Some folks, they just like little things. Like a pin, y’know? With the Buckeyes logo. Or a hat. Somethin’ to wear when you’re watchin’ the game on TV. Or a flag, to hang outside. Show everyone you’re a fan.
I seen them fancy coins too. Big ol’ coins, shiny gold and silver. With the Buckeyes name on ’em. Must cost a pretty penny, them things. But folks like ’em, I guess. Somethin’ to put on the shelf, show off to your friends.
And they got them little statues, like dolls. Of the players. Little plastic fellas, all dressed up in the uniform. Kids like them, I bet. Or the grown-ups who never really grew up, you know the type.
Now, why do people want this stuff? Well, like I said, it’s memories. Reminds ’em of the games, the wins, the good times. And it’s somethin’ to collect, somethin’ to show off. Like stamps or coins, I guess. Only with football stuff.
And some folks, they say it’s an investment. That this stuff will be worth more money later on. I don’t know about that. Seems like a gamble to me. But hey, people do all sorts of crazy things with their money.
If you wanna get some of this Buckeyes stuff, you gotta be careful. Some folks try to sell you fake things. Signatures that ain’t real, stuff that’s just made up. You gotta find a place you trust, a place that sells the real deal. Don’t wanna get ripped off, y’know?
