Alright, so I got this idea to put together a collection of jokes about the Ohio State football team. You know, just for a bit of fun. I’m a huge college football fan, and the rivalry between Ohio State and, well, pretty much everyone else is legendary. I figured it’d be a laugh to gather some of the best (or worst, depending on your perspective) jokes out there.
I started by hitting up the usual spots online. You know, just browsing around, seeing what people were saying. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but there are so many posts, and many people were sharing their jokes. I went to some forums, too, but some of them just became people yelling at each other.
Then I started sorting through all the material. I wanted a good mix, nothing too mean, but still funny. I spent a few hours on this, separating the wheat from the chaff, as they say. Some of the jokes were pretty clever, others were just… well, not so much.
Filtering the Good Stuff
After I had a decent-sized list, I started filtering out the ones that were just plain bad or didn’t make sense. I even ran a few by some buddies to get their take. Some they found funny, others were a fail.
I even tried my hand at crafting a few jokes myself. It’s harder than it looks! Coming up with something original and funny isn’t easy. I think I managed to create a couple of decent ones, but I’m no comedian.
- Why don’t Ohio State fans eat Fruit Loops? Because they can’t handle bowls.
- What’s the difference between the Ohio State football team and a dollar bill? You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.
- How many Ohio State freshmen football players does it take to change a light bulb? None. That’s a sophomore course.
- What do you call an Ohio State football player with a championship ring? A thief.
Finally, I put the whole thing together. It was a fun little project. I shared it with a few online communities, and the feedback was pretty good. Some people added their own jokes, which was cool. Even a few Ohio State fans chimed in, which I respected.
It was just a fun thing to do on a boring afternoon. And a nice reminder that even rivals can have a bit of a laugh together. But don’t get it twisted, I still want to see them lose every game!
