Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post, channeling that “down-to-earth, experienced blogger” vibe and focusing only on the Penn State 2015 football schedule, as requested:
So, I was digging through some old files today, trying to organize my digital life, you know? And I stumbled across something that brought back some memories: the 2015 Penn State Nittany Lions football schedule. Figured I’d jot down my process of finding and saving it, might be useful for someone out there.
First, I needed that schedule. I couldn’t just remember it, my brain doesn’t work like that anymore! I fired up my trusty search engine.
I started typing in “Penn State Nittany Lions 2015 football schedule”. Pretty straightforward, right?
Boom! There it was. A whole bunch of results, and I picked one looked.
Now, I didn’t want to just bookmark it. I’ve learned my lesson with broken links and websites disappearing. I wanted this thing saved. So, I did the old copy and paste. Highlighted the whole schedule, all the dates, opponents, home and away games… the works.
My Organized notes
Then, I opened up my favorite simple text editor. Nothing fancy, just a place to dump the text. Pasted it in there.
- Temple
- Buffalo
- Rutgers
- San Diego State
- Army
- Indiana
- Ohio State
- Maryland
- Illinois
- Northwestern
- Michigan
- Michigan State
Finally, I saved that file. Named it something super obvious like “PennStateFootballSchedule2015”. It is important to save files with the most practical names.
That’s it. That’s the whole process. Nothing groundbreaking, but now I have that 2015 schedule saved for posterity, and it won’t disappear on me. Sometimes, the simplest methods are the best, especially when you’re dealing with stuff online. It is much better than to have no notes.
