So, I’ve been digging into this 2019-20 Kentucky basketball roster lately. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you. Started off pretty simple. I just wanted a list of the players, you know?
First, I started by searching for information. A little bit of surfing on the internet, and soon I had a basic list of names. But I wanted more than just names. I wanted their positions, maybe some stats, you know, the whole nine yards.
So, I started to compile a list and categorize them.

- Nate Sestina: Forward, Graduate Transfer.
- EJ Montgomery: Forward, Sophomore.
- Nick Richards: Center, Junior.
- Zan Payne: Forward, Walk-on Junior.
- Brennan Canada: Forward, Walk-on Redshirt Freshman.
- Riley Welch: Guard, Walk-on Senior.
- Ben Jordan: Forward, Walk-on Freshman.
- Kareem Watkins: Guard, Walk-on Freshman.
Then I got a little carried away. I started looking up their individual highlights from that season, some interviews, and what they’ve been up to since. I even managed to find some photos of the whole team.
Eventually, I put all this stuff together. It’s not fancy, just a simple document with all the info I gathered. But, you know, it felt good to have it all in one place. It’s like I got to know the team a little better, even though I’ve never met any of them.
I was proud of what I collected, so I saved the document. Maybe I’ll update it sometime, or maybe I’ll just leave it as a snapshot of that 2019-20 season.
